Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ThunkTunk LLC ("FlashCoupons," "we," "us") handles information in connection with flashcoupons.com and FlashCoupons content and integrations on social media platforms (the "Service").

1. Information we collect from website visitors

FlashCoupons does not offer accounts, sign-ups, or forms, and we do not ask you for personal information such as your name or email address.

Automatically collected information: When you visit the site, our hosting providers automatically process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time of visit. This is used to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

2. Cookies and analytics

We may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages and deals are viewed, how visitors arrive (such as from a search engine or social media post), and general device, browser, and approximate location information (city or region level). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. It does not give us your name, email address, or other directly identifying information.

Google processes this information under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work without them.

We do not use advertising cookies on flashcoupons.com, and we do not sell information about visitors or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: Our site does not currently respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is no sale or sharing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of.

3. When you click a deal

Deal links take you to Yazing (yazing.com) and then to the merchant's website. Once you leave flashcoupons.com, information collected by those sites — including cookies used to track affiliate referrals and purchases — is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. We may receive aggregated or de-identified reports from Yazing about clicks and purchases (for example, which brands received clicks or sales), which we use to understand deal performance.

4. Social media platforms and API integrations

FlashCoupons publishes content to its own accounts on platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, X, and LinkedIn, using those platforms' official APIs directly or through publishing and scheduling service providers.

TikTok: We use TikTok's developer APIs (including Login Kit and the Content Posting API) solely to authorize and publish videos and posts to FlashCoupons' own TikTok account. Through this integration we may receive the connected account's TikTok identifier (open_id), access and refresh tokens, and basic profile information (such as display name and avatar). We use this information only to authenticate the connection and publish content to that account. We do not use TikTok APIs to collect information about other TikTok users, we do not sell or share TikTok data with third parties except service providers that help us publish content, and we do not use it for advertising.

Access tokens are stored securely, access is limited to systems that publish content, and tokens are deleted within 30 days after the integration is disconnected or access is revoked. Access can be revoked at any time through TikTok's account settings (Manage app permissions).

For all platforms, when you view, like, comment on, or follow FlashCoupons content, that platform collects and controls your information under its own privacy policy. We may see aggregate engagement metrics provided by the platform and public comments on our posts.

5. How we use information

To operate, secure, and improve the Service; to understand which pages and deals visitors find useful; to publish content to our own social accounts; to measure deal performance; and to comply with legal obligations.

6. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that host the site, provide analytics, or help us publish content (under obligations to protect it); when required by law or to protect our rights and safety; or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of the business. We do not sell personal information.

7. Retention

Server logs are kept only as long as our hosting providers retain them for operational and security purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings we configure in Google Analytics, which will not exceed 14 months. Platform integration data is kept while the integration is active and deleted as described above.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live — including under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act and similar state laws — you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. Because we collect very little personal information, most requests will involve server logs, analytics data, or platform integration data. To make a request or an appeal, email privacy@flashcoupons.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
